Pastor Cody Harlow

Senior Pastor & Elder

Pastor Cody is our leader who casts the vision and keeps our church focused on the purpose of loving God and loving people. He preaches God's Word, shepherds the congregation, and spends time in prayer. He arrived at the church in 2016 with his wife Amber.

They have five children: Malachi, Lillian, Josiah, Abigail, and David. The family enjoys exploring the Lake area, serving together, and homeschooling.

Cody enjoys creative pursuits, smoking meat, reading theology and Puritan works, being outdoors, and playing board games with the family.

Thomas Goertzen

Thomas Goertzen

Director of Family Ministries

Thomas moved to Missouri in 2021 from Canada and felt called to Family Ministry. He believes that families, when pursuing after the heart of God, can be a transformative force in society and culture.

He lives with his wife DeAnna and their four children: Amelia, Samuel, Annabelle, and Hannah. The family enjoys reading, storytelling, and exploring God's creation.

Susie Ginnings

Wee Care Director

Susie has served as Wee Care Director since July 1984. She grew up at the church and committed to Christian service at age 17. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies, Sociology, and Psychology from Southwest Baptist University.

Previously, she served three years at FBC House Springs as Minister of Youth and Outreach. She has been married to Rick Ginnings for 35 years and has five children: David, Amy, Steve, Joey, and Corey.

Wee Care provides a home away from home for 135 children.

Mary Resz

Mary Resz

Church Secretary

Mary moved to the lake in Summer 2024 and began as church secretary in August 2025. She is a mother of two adult daughters and grandmother to two teenagers in the Springfield area.

She creates art in her studio and teaches art at State Fair Community College. She holds a BFA and Master's degree in Studio Art from Drury University and enjoys pottery, painting Ozark scenes, hiking, reading, and traveling.
